Al Bataeh Sharjah (ULB) landed experienced 35-year old international 189cm guard Rashed Alzaabi. Alzaabi played most recently at Al Sharjah.
He has been also a member of UAE international program for some years. Alzaabi has regularly played for UAE senior team since 2006 and previously for University National Team back in 2011.
He represented United Arab Emirates at the Asian Games in Huangzhou (China) last year. His stats at that event were 3 games: 10.7ppg, 4.7rpg, 2.7apg, 1.7spg, FGP: 52.4%, 3PT: 22.2%, FT: 66.7%.
Alzaabi has spent his entire career in United Arab Emirates playing for two other teams: Shabab Al Ahli and Al Wasl. He won UAE League championship title in 2016, 2018, 2019 and 2020.
Alzaabi is close to retirement age as a player. It may be one of last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Al Bataeh.
